The eagerly awaited new Mein Schiff Relax from TUI Cruises is finally underway! While the Mein Schiff 7 was built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Turku, Finland, the Mein Schiff Relax, part of the innovative InTUItion series, was built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, and with a planned gross tonnage of 160,000, is larger than the other liners. The second launch, Mein Schiff Flow, is scheduled to arrive in 2026! The Mein Schiff Relax offers space for 3,984 guests in 1,974 cabins and suites of various categories on 17 passenger decks. What are the highlights and new features? Guests can expect new cabin and suite categories, new dining concepts, and wellness and relaxation concepts. The completely redesigned outdoor area with a chill-out area, pool, whirlpools, and signature roof is one of the visual highlights of the Mein Schiff Relax. Relaxing rocks: In September 2024, TUI Cruises introduced megastar Robbie Williams as the official wellness ambassador of the new Mein Schiff Relax. The award-winning musician, who has enjoyed worldwide chart success and record-breaking success as a member of the band Take That and as a solo artist, appreciates the many retreats for relaxation on the new TUI cruise ship. - Mein Schiff Relax nutzt erstmalig einen innovativen Dual-Fuel-Antrieb, der vorrangig mit Flüssigerdgas (LNG) fährt und so Emissionen reduziert.
- Verbessertes Kabinenkonzept: Neu sind Innen-, Außen- und Balkonkabinen speziell für Alleinreisende. Der Suiten-Bereich befindet sich nun, verteilt auf mehr Decks als vorher, am Heck des Schiffes.
- Neu sind auch die Nichtraucher-Balkonkabinen im vorderen Teil des Schiffs.
- Neue Restaurants und Gastronomiekonzepte: Im asiatischen Restaurant "Fugu" trifft hochwertige asiatische Küche auf digitale Details. Neue Inklusivrestaurants mit Service am Platz wie das Taverna Dionysos mit griechischer Küche oder Sur Mer Bistrot mit französischer Cuisine (geöffnet zum Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen) erweitern die Auswahl bei den inkludierten Lokalen. - Das skandinavische Steakrestaurant Høfde sowie das Chalet mit alpenländischer Speisekarte ergänzen die exklusiven Spezialitätenangebote. Novum: Speisen im Chalet kosten extra, aber die integrierte Bar umfasst Getränke der Mein Schiff® Premium-Inklusivleistungen.
- Für Suitengäste wurden zwei exklusive Restaurants integriert: X-Coast und X-View. Die X-Lounge ist wie gewohnt ebenfalls vertreten.
- Konzept verändert: Das Frühstücks- und Lunchbuffet in der X-Lounge finden Suitengäste neu im X-Coast Restaurant vor.
- Moderne Wellnessangebote: Eine Fass-Sauna auf dem Mistraldeck ganz vorne am Bug, eine Kältekammer mit Temperaturen bis zu minus 110 Grad für Kryotherapie-Anwendungen im SPA & Meer und zahlreiche Relax- und Loungebereiche zählen zu den Highlights (gegen Aufpreis). Das Mistraldeck avanciert dank weichem Bodenbelag zum Outdoor-Kursraum - frische Seeluft und Panoramablick inklusive!
- Der Bosporus Grill ist nicht mehr vorhanden. Für den Hunger zwischendurch locken das Pane e Sole Bistro und Pool Bistro.
- Innovatives Sonnendeck inklusive Signature-Kuppelüberdachung auf Deck 17 (Aqua) mit Infinitypool, 25 Meter langem Außenpool, mehreren Whirlpools, Wasserspielen für Kinder sowie Pool-Bar und -Bistro.

Destinations and cruise routes
In the 2025 and 2026 seasons, the Western Mediterranean with destinations in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and Morocco are among those in the Mein Schiff Relax logbook. On the 7- to 10-day cruises from and to Palma de Mallorca (current summer home port), TUI board guests can cross a number of cities and destinations off their bucket list. Italy fans, for example, can look forward to the capital Rome, La Spezia in Liguria, Naples in the south and the islands of Sardinia and Sicily. On the Spanish Mediterranean coast, the coastal cities of Valencia, Barcelona, Malaga and Cadiz cast their spell with their long history and many important sights. The Mein Schiff Relax also makes detours to Marseille (be sure to visit the Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde; the climb is rewarded with a fabulous view of the port city and the sea!) and Cannes (strolling along the chic Boulevard de la Croisette is a must!) in the south of France. In Portugal, the Mein Schiff Relax heads for the capital Lisbon (incidentally one of the oldest cities in Western Europe). A visit to the port city of Tangier in Morocco is also planned.
Living: cabins and suites
Whether inside, outside or balcony cabins: the living spaces on the Mein Schiff Relax are spacious in the usual manner and have a new design. Various options make living happiness perfect not only for couples, but also for families with up to six members. More fresh air, more space: on the youngest member of the fleet, TUI Cruises is increasing the proportion of balcony cabins to a whopping 85 percent.

Ja! Nach der unglaublich starken Resonanz über die Solo-Kabinen auf der Mein Schiff 7, überrascht es nicht, dass TUI Cruises auch auf der Mein Schiff Relax viel Platz für Einzelkabinen eingeplant hat. Ob Innen-, Außen- oder Balkonvariante für Solo-Traveler: Das neueste Wohlfühlschiff hat neben den zwei bekannten Kategorien neu auch die Einzel-Balkonkabinen integriert. Eingeplant ist eine Raumgröße von 11 Quadratmetern; das Bett ist so ausgerichtet, dass Gäste mit einem Blick aufs Meer einschlafen und am Morgen wieder aufwachen. Zur Buchung stehen 7 Einzel-Innenkabinen, 9 Einzel-Außenkabinen und 10 Einzel-Balkonkabinen zur Verfügung.
Welche Suiten gibt’s auf der Mein Schiff Relax?
Insgesamt bietet die Mein Schiff Relax fünf unterschiedliche Suitenkategorien an, die sich erstmals allesamt verteilt auf verschiedenen Decks im Heck befinden. Auf den anderen TUI Cruises - Mein Schiff® Modellen konnten die Gäste die Gastronomie und den Service der exklusiven X-Lounge nutzen. Ob Frühstück, Snack, Mittag- oder Abendessen: Die Reederei erweitert dieses Angebot auf der Mein Schiff Relax um zwei zusätzliche Restaurants. Auch der Außenbereich erhält unter anderem dank des neuen Designs, mehr Fläche, Daybeds und Whirlpools ein geschmeidiges Upgrade. So sind beispielsweise auf dem achten TUI-Kreuzfahrtschiff Junior Suiten verfügbar, die großzügigen Wohnraum auf rund 25 Quadratmetern bieten. Noch mehr Platz und Privatsphäre offerieren die „Schöne Aussicht Suiten“, sowie zwei verschiedene Suiten-Kategorien mit separaten Schlafzimmern, die Platz für bis zu 4 Personen bieten. Diese beinhalten die „Fernweh Suiten“ mit bis zu 38 Quadratmetern und die „Weitblick Suiten“ mit etwa 45 Quadratmetern. Neu auf der Mein Schiff Relax sind die „Große Freiheit Suiten“, in denen bis zu sechs Personen eine komfortable Kreuzfahrt genießen können. Diese Suiten erstrecken sich auf über zwei Decks mit insgesamt 88 Quadratmetern und verfügen über eine eigene Veranda auf jedem Deck. Die Highlights? Zwei Schlafzimmer, eine Infrarot-Sauna und großflächige Fensterfronten für einen atemberaubenden Ausblick und ein Höchstmaß an Freiraum.

Gastronomy: restaurants, bars and premium inclusive services
In addition to the classics (Osteria - Pizza e Pasta, Mein Schiff Bar, X-Lounge and X-Bar), the Mein Schiff Relax has many new hotspots for a culinary break or main meal. As usual, many restaurants and bars are part of the Mein Schiff® premium inclusive services: guests can enjoy dishes from all over the world with complete flexibility and without fixed meal times or seating arrangements and, of course, at no extra charge. Over 100 different branded drinks, coffee specialties, wines, beers and cocktails are still included in the travel price of the TUI cruise. There is an additional charge for selected specialty restaurants. The dining concept of the two-story Atlantic main restaurant has been expanded and can now be found at the rear of the ship: at lunchtime and in the evening, the service serves a creative 5-course menu. For breakfast, guests can put together their own favorite dishes from the extensive buffet. A bar is now also part of the Atlantic ensemble and is open during the day and in the evening.

Whether Greek, Japanese, Italian or French cuisine classics: the innovative country specialty restaurants invite you on a phenomenal journey around the world. Guests on the Mein Schiff Relax can find popular dishes from the land of the rising sun with a creative, modern interpretation at the specialty restaurant Fugu (not included), which becomes a lounge location with drinks and music after dinner. The à la carte restaurant Taverna Dionysos (included) combines the best evergreens of Greek cuisine: moussaka, horiatiki, souvlaki and fasolada, among others. At Parisian café chic: in the Sur Mer Bistrot (included), guests can enjoy selected classics of French cuisine such as croissants, crêpes or coq au vin. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner: at the Scandinavian steak restaurant Høfde (not included), enjoyment and well-being are all about the unique hygge feeling of the north. Whether it's shows, live music, dance, theater, musicals, or concerts by the onboard ensemble collective or prominent guest artists, Mein Schiff Relax delivers a comprehensive entertainment lineup that is sure to make waves. A very special highlight is the new Burlesque Bar in the Casino, which impresses with sensual musical variety performances. Pole dancing workshops and various tastings round out the offerings of this unique Mein Schiff Relax location. The large theater on the Wave and Atlantic Decks is the place to be when show professionals demonstrate their skills on stage in musicals, plays, or concerts. Live music is also regularly featured at the Street Art Bar or the D4 Nightclub. A theater with a smaller stage and fewer seats, as well as an integrated bar—the Blaue Flora—is in no way inferior to the diverse entertainment program of its big brother. Sports fans appreciate the training option in the well-equipped fitness center on the Aqua Deck as well as the jogging track in the fresh air and the course room on the Dune Deck. The closed and covered Arena multi-purpose sports hall with bouldering wall, indoor cycling and opportunities for basketball, soccer, etc. is also represented. As on the other Mein Schiff® models, children and young people enjoy the comfort of an extensive, age-appropriate entertainment program of sports and games as well as professional care (part of the inclusive service) in the Kids Club. For babies and toddlers, equipment such as toys, play equipment, etc. is available in the Nest Baby Room under parental supervision.
Environment and sustainability
The Mein Schiff Relax is able to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) and, in the longer term, by biological LNG or electrical LNG. Less air pollution: Other environmentally friendly measures include advanced catalysts and special exhaust gas cleaning systems (scrubbers), which significantly reduce harmful emissions and/or reduce emissions to environmentally acceptable levels.
