Milos, island in the Aegean Sea in the southeast of Greece, one of the Cyclades. Milos has an area of 158 square kilometers. The main products of the island are cereals, fruit and olive oil. The famous Venus of Milo was found here in 1820, a statue from the 2nd century BC that can be seen today in the Louvre in Paris. There are about 5,000 people living on the island.
The highest elevation is with a height of 748 m the Profitis Ilias in the west of the island. The rocky coast around the island's lower part is lined with several beaches, which are mainly colored with rocks and sand.
