With the Phu My Hung City Center, the city's 7th district has been built over a 600-hectare area in recent years, with a new and extremely well-developed urban area with good transportation connections to the center of Ho Chi Minh City. This impressive industrial and cultural center is home to a host of interesting buildings and museums, including some beautiful sacred buildings of different religions: a neo-Romanesque cathedral of brick, one of the most important colonial buildings in the city, the colorful Jade Pagoda, which reveres several Taoist and Buddhist deities, the imposing yellow Hindu temple Sri Mariamman and the blue-white central mosque with its four minarets. Stroll then through one of the many beautiful parks in the city and do not miss a visit to the Historical Museum or the Ho Chi Minh Museum, both of which report very vividly about Vietnam's turbulent history.
