Roztoky is a Czech commune, located southeast of Rakovnik. On the territory of today's town was once the court of the Püglitz  keeper Jivra of Roztoky, which had no longer been in use since 1370. Shortly afterwards, the village was first mentioned for the first time in 1406.

Also worth a visit is the castle in nearby Leotýn with its English garden, where you can visit the chapel of Saint Wenceslas and its statue, built in 1866. Do not miss a trip to Křivoklát Castle. This castle, dating from the 12th century, is one of the oldest and best-known castles of the Bohemian dukes and kings. A hiking trip through the nature reserve Červený kříž is highly recommended.
