In the old town one of the greatest sights is the castle of the dukes of Pomerania (Zamek Książąą Pomorskich). It was also heavily damaged during the war but was reconstructed. Here is also the opera. Next to it stands the Siebenmäntel Tower, part of the old town fortification. The Gothic Loitzenhof is also worth a visit, it once belonged to the rich trading family Loitz. In terms of sacred buildings the Church of St. Peter and Paul is worth a visit as well as the town hall.
Also in the new town you will find interesting buildings and places, such as the central parade square or the modern high-rise complex PAZIM. The Haken Terrasse is also of particular interest, some buildings along the promenade. Finally, the neo-gothic New Town Hall forms an interesting counterpoint to the town hall in the old town.
