In the very charming old town with its picturesque squares is the church of St-Philibert from the 11th century, an example of pre-Romanesque architecture, and the churches of Fontenay, Autun, Paray-le-Monial and Vézelay. The architectural feature of the building is the vault of the nave, whose tunnels lie transversely to the ship's direction. In the Musée Bourguignon Perrin de Puycousin scenes of the Burgundian past are reproduced. The Musée Greuze shows the genre paintings of Rococo master Jean-Baptiste Greuze from Tournus.
