Azamara Quest

With 18.5 knots, the 180-meter-long Azamara Quest sets off on its decelerating course through all seven seas. Aboard the luxury ship, for only 686 passengers there is a pleasant family atmosphere. Before the cruise

Diets
With appropriate advance notice, the cruise line can fulfill a number of special dietary requirements. Please note that not all dietary requirements can be met. Please inform the cruise at least 30 working days before the start of your cruise. Please note that some diet requests, such as: for example, kosher, gluten-free and lactose-free food must be ordered at least 45 days before departure.
Easy check-in
Embarkation begins at 14.00 (local time) until 90 minutes before departure. If you are a Suite or Discoverer, Discoverer Plus or Discoverer Platinum guest, look for priority boarding signage at the pier.
Health protocols
All guests must ensure they are medically and physically fit to travel. While some vaccinations may be recommended, certain countries may also require them as a condition of entry. We recommend that you consult your doctor or a WHO- certified travel health professional for specific advice about your health needs while traveling, depending on the countries you visit.
The cruise line understands unforeseen circumstances, such as an illness that can disrupt your travel plans. It is strongly recommended that all guests purchase travel insurance to protect themselves from unexpected situations. Guests are free to choose their insurance provider, but are recommended to choose a direct partnership with Allianz. Allianz's Azamara travel protection can help protect your holiday investment and give you peace of mind.

Clothing
In all dining rooms, the cruise line encourages guests to adhere to a “resort casual” dress code, adhering to good taste and common sense. Barefoot, tank tops, baseball caps, swimsuits, shorts and jeans are not permitted in the main dining room and two specialty restaurants. When dining at Windows Café, guests are required to wear footwear and an overgarment or shirt. At Prime C, Aqualina and Discoveries Restaurant, many guests like to dress up. Formal evening wear (ball gown and tuxedo) is not expected. For men, a jacket or suit is recommended; for women  dresses, skirts, blouses with trousers and capris.
Shore excursions
A nominal fee is charged for each Azamara Shore Excursions tour to cover the cost of attraction entrance fees, transportation and other associated tour fees.
Your group of 16 or more guests can choose a private tour from the regular program, or you can customize a tour to suit your group's interests, hobbies and budget. For further assistance please visit the contact page.
You can also book a private shore excursion. The luxury tour service allows you to create any experience you desire or customize existing signature tours. Please complete our private tour request form at least 30 days before departure.
Tours that include flights, trains, special events, overnight stays, hotel stays and private experiences must be canceled 30 days prior to departure to avoid cancellation fees. Additional restrictions may apply. All other Azamara shore excursions have a hassle-free 48-hour cancellation policy

Food and drinks
Reservations are not accepted in the main dining area,the Discoveries Restaurant. If you would like to dine at either of the two specialty restaurants, Prime C and Aqualina, reservations are highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Drinks packages are per person, so you can only order one drink at a time.Packages offer unlimited drinks per person as part of our responsible alcohol service policy. The price range for super-premium liquor brands is too wide to fit into one package. Super-premium brands can be ordered as individual drinks. If you have purchased a drinks package, you can order a drink via room service during normal bar opening hours. However, the selected complimentary spirits, beers and wines are not available through room service.

During the cruise

Accessibility
Guests with disabilities and special needs are warmly welcome and cared for throughout their vacation. For appropriate assistance, be sure to notify the Access Department by email no later than 40 days prior to U.S. departures and 80 days prior to all other departures.

The cruise line provides wheelchairs free of charge for getting on and off the ship. If you would like to have a wheelchair or scooter during the cruise, you are welcome to bring your own or rent one from a company that rents wheelchairs and scooters for cruises.

Service animals are allowed on all ships. For more information about service animal policies, please see the Service Animals section.

Dialysis
Guests requiring dialysis are welcome aboard all Azamara cruises. However, Azamara is unable to support or provide hemodialysis treatment. Guests undergoing peritoneal dialysis should have all solutions and equipment necessary to perform dialysis delivered to the ship on the day of departure at least two hours prior to departure. Please contact us for further information on policies and procedures.
Electronic devices
The voltage on board is 110 / 220Volt. Hairdryers are available on all ships.
Cruise safety
In the event that the main power source fails, the cruise company has drawn up an emergency plan and the emergency generators will be put into operation. These are typically located on the upper decks, have their own fuel supply and are completely independent. The generators can provide emergency lighting, operate elevators and even provide electricity to start the engines. They can also power communication channels such as radio, fax and email so that the ship can continue to communicate with the shore.

Cruise documents and luggage tags
Ticketing for domestic bookings begins 49 days prior to the departure date, provided the booking is fully paid, there are no waitlisted items and the air travel (if applicable) is completed. An email will be sent to the address used for booking. This can be the address of the guest or the travel agency. The email informs the guest/agent that the electronic cruise documents are available for reservation number XXXXXX and provides a link to the documents.
