The cozy 5-anchor ship of the Alsatian cruise line Croisi Europe is waiting for you with a dignified travel comfort. The bright and elegantly furnished onboard restaurant of the MS Symphonie invites you to enjoy the view from the large panoramic windows over a hearty breakfast or lunch.
The MS Symphony was built in 1997 and modernized in 2017. The cozy cabins with individually adjustable air conditioning and many other amenities offer space for a total of 106 passengers. Together with the courteous service, the river cruise offers a maximum of relaxation.

Before the cruise

Embarkation and disembarkation
In general, embarkation on the first day is around 17.00 and disembarkation on the last day is around 09.00. Confirmation of these times and the embarkation and disembarkation locations will be provided with your travel documents.          
Price changes
Information in brochures and catalogues, including current travel prices, is binding for the cruise line. However, Croisi Europe expressly reserves the right to declare a specific change to the brochures and price information before the travel contract is concluded for objectively justified, significant and unforeseeable reasons, such as a sharp increase in fuel costs due to rising crude oil prices or an increase in VAT, of which you will be informed before booking.
Withdrawal authorization
You can cancel before the start of your cruise for a fee. If you cancel a river cruise with a scheduled flight, you will be charged 100% cancellation fees for the flight portion.
Important information about the river cruises
Low or high water levels on the rivers, waiting times at the locks, tides, national holidays, opening times, navigational or other unexpected circumstances may make changes to the program necessary. Partial routes may be covered by bus or cancelled. In some cases, it may be necessary to change to another ship or temporarily stay in a suitable hotel. These decisions must be made at short notice by the captain, the cruise line, the organizer or the tour guide. It is also possible that two or more ships are assigned a berth next to each other at the same pier. In this case, the clear view from the ship's windows may be restricted or blocked. Furthermore, on rivers with many bridges and locks, the sun deck may not be usable at certain points.

During the cruise

Drinks at the bar
For all cruises where bar drinks are included in the price, except for drinks from the Exclusive Card, payment for drinks from the Exclusive Card is made in cash when ordering at the bar. For cruises where bar drinks are not included, a drink voucher can be purchased and paid for in cash or by credit card (Visa and MasterCard, not EC card).  
Language on board
The onboard language is French and German. The travel information on board and the shore excursions are usually announced in German (sometimes also multilingual). For all river cruises where shore excursions are offered optionally, a minimum number of 20 participants is required for the excursions to be conducted in German.
Limited mobility
The advertised journeys are only partly suitable for persons with reduced mobility. Guests must be physically able to enter and leave the bus independently and, if necessary, the ship. Please note that the excursion programs partly take place on foot.
Cabins on board
All cabins are outside cabins with a floor area of ​​between approx. 11 and 14 m². Amenities include a shower/toilet, hairdryer, house telephone, television, safe and individually adjustable air conditioning or heating. All cabins are equipped with 2 lower beds, which are either separate or - as a French bed - arranged together.
 Single travelers receive a single cabin or, depending on availability, a double cabin for single use. Single cabins are usually smaller and can differ in their furnishings. Aft cabins are cabins that are located in the rear part of the ship and are closest to the engine room. The early booking bonus and dates without a single cabin surcharge do not apply to aft cabins. These cabins cannot be booked by single travelers.
Services
Entrance fees, city tours, harbor and airport fees etc. are not included in the travel price, unless otherwise stated.
Smoker / Non smoker
The cruise line would like to point out that the excursions are generally carried out by non-smoking buses, this also applies to the transfer rides to / from the port.
Payment arrangements
After conclusion of the contract, 20% of the travel price per traveler must be paid in advance after receiving the confirmation. The rest of the balance is due no later than 3 weeks before departure.

Documents and papers

Passport and visa requirements
For cruises within the EU, German citizens need a valid identity card. For cruises outside the EU, a passport that is valid for at least 6 months more after the end of the cruise is required. You will be informed about special visa and health regulations during the respective cruises. If you are not an EU citizen, you are asked to find out about the applicable travel documents for your destination country well in advance of the start of your cruise.
Travel insurance
The cruise line recommends the conclusion of a travel insurance.

- Amsterdam: excursion to Keukenhof
- Hoorn: excursion to Alkmaar with visit to a cheese museum
- Amsterdam: canal cruise, excursion to Volendam and Zaanse Schans

Gratuities on board of Croisi Europe
The tip recommendation onboard is 2-3 % of the cruise price and, at the end of the journey, is to be handed in an envelope which can be found in the cabin.

Please note that the gratuity recommendation (gratuity regulation) does not automatically become part of the contract, but only after a separate confirmation by the consumer (customer). Therefore, prior to booking the voyage, the consent of the consumer (customer) is requested.
