Before the cruise

Smoking
Smoking is permitted in designated areas, usually only in front of the wheelhouse or near the swim platform. Smoking in the cabins is prohibited. In case of violation, the fire alarm will be activated. If you smoke, make sure that you do not disturb other passengers.
Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in the price of the cruise but are a voluntary token of appreciation for good service. Although gratuities are at your discretion, the cruise line is often asked for advice: the crew aboard the ship: We recommend around 10 to 12 euros per crew member and person per week. (Of course, the amount may be as much or as little as you like). Gratuities are distributed evenly among the ship crew.
Our guests
There is usually an international mix of guests on board from all over the world - Scandinavia, UK, New Zealand, Australia, USA, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, etc. It's a great way to meet people from all over the world and make new and lasting friendships! For everyone's convenience, the official language on board is English.
Water
While the tap water on board is of good quality, drinking it on board or during your cruise is not recommended. Bottled water, which you can buy on board, is a safe alternative.

During the cruise

Nutritional preference
Guests are kindly requested to inform the booking office as soon as possible of any restrictions and allergies, such as diabetic, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, etc. It is also advisable to ask upon arrival if the staff is aware of your allergy. The kitchen team will endeavour to accommodate these requests.
Drinks
The ship has a bar in the saloon, which is open regularly from 09:00 to 23:00 pm. There you will find a wide selection of soft drinks, hot drinks, bottled water, local quality bottled wine and beers.
Internet connection(
A free Wi-Fi service is available on board for guests. Please note that the internet connection is wireless and the connection may be unreliable during some phases of the cruise. For this reason, reception may not be possible or the connection speed may decrease. Skype calls will work in major cities on the route. The connection is best suited for checking emails or accessing news portals, while downloading files or video streaming is recommended on other occasions. The Wi-Fi connection can be used in the salon or in the aft lounge.
Cabin furnishings
Bed linen and towels are provided. Towels are changed every other day, if needed just ask the cruise director. The cabins are furnished with double or twin beds, work table, chair, mirror, night lamps, safe, radio or TV, hairdryer, shampoo, soap, 220V power connection, life jacket, wardrobe and luggage storage under the bed, as well as the latest security and fire alarm. The cabins on the lower deck have a porthole and a double ventilation system (one in the bathroom and one in the cabin), while the cabins on the main and upper deck have a cabin window. The cabins are soundproof and have a fireproof door.
Clothing
Swimsuit, shorts, T-shirts, underwear, flip-flops, maximum two pairs of light trousers, walking sandals or sneakers (for sightseeing/excursions), windbreaker, light jacket or similar (for potentially cooler evenings). You can leave your tuxedo or other formal wear at home.
Suitcases
Cabins are not hotel rooms and you have limited space - do not waste it on huge "hard" suitcases, but better with a sports bag or a "soft" suitcase. The suitcases can be stored in the allocated space under the beds.
Noise levels and silence
Guests are asked to respect the night's silence, which officially begins at midnight. As the ship docks at ports with varying levels of activity for the night, you must expect a certain level of noise from the shore and other boats in the port, especially in July and August. The noise level usually drops around midnight. However, there are sometimes festivities such as the patron saint's day and the like, which often last into the night. As the air conditioning runs all night, you can sleep behind closed windows.
Food on board
The dishes served are a combination of Mediterranean and international cuisine, adapted to the taste of the guests. The chef also offers traditional Croatian dishes. A selection of fresh fruit is available throughout the day. A breakfast buffet is served from 07:30 to 09:00 with changing hot dishes such as omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausages and the like.
For lunch and dinner, 3-course menus are served, often including fish or seafood.
Swimming opportunities
Depending on the weather and the time of year, several stops will be made during the cruise in secluded and quiet bays where the boat will drop anchor. Swimming is available from the bathing platform at the back of the ship, where there are two showers and ladders. Guests who prefer to swim on the beach will also have the opportunity to do so during the cruise, as the ship often docks near beaches that are within easy walking distance.
Beach towels
Are available on the boat (if not included in the price, beach towels can be rented).

Documents and papers

Documents and other documents
Travel information, mobile phone number and any other phone numbers provided by your travel agent, passports and other documents, airline tickets, visas (if you need them), credit cards.
Travel documents

There are two types of cabin bills, the ship bill and the bar bill. The ship bill consists of port taxes and fees. The bar bill consists of the drinks purchased at the bar, which are charged to your cabin account. Both bills can be paid in cash at the end of the cruise. Some customers have the port taxes and fees included in the package price, others pay them locally.

Please note:
The schedule provided is for guidance purposes only. The current mooring and departure times will be announced on board; mooring locations may change due to weather conditions. More information is available upon request.

Gratuities on board of DCS Touristik
At the end of the journey, you can use the «right for you»  gratuity  to express your satisfaction with the services of the crew.
Please use the envelopes, which will be brought to your cabin on the eve of departure. A designated box at the reception picks up these envelopes on the day of disembarkation.
All gratuities are distributed evenly among the crew.
As a rule, DCS Touristik recommends between 4 Euro per guest / day (= normal service, everything is OK) to 7 Euro per guest / day (= excellent service, extremely friendly and helpful crew).

Please note that the gratuity recommendation (gratuity regulation) does not automatically become part of the contract, but only after a separate confirmation by the consumer (customer). Therefore, prior to booking the voyage, the consent of the consumer (customer) is requested.
