Your home on the Norwegian coast

The Havila Voyages ship will be your home for a while. Live, sleep and eat here. And Havila Voyages wants you to be comfortable. Come aboard a ship whose interior reflects Norwegian nature with sea and sky, mountains and rocks - and with glaciers. Natural materials and Scandinavian design create a cozy, authentic and relaxed atmosphere so that you really feel at home on board. In Norway we love “cosiness” (hygge) - the word that says everything about well-being, relaxation and a good mood. The word “hygge” comes from Old Norse and has now entered many languages around the world. The many common areas on the ship have made sure that you can enjoy the passing nature while you can sit in comfortable chairs by the large windows - like on a box seat on the Norwegian coast. A sea voyage on the coastal route invites you to long thoughts and a calmer pulse. If you want to feel the wind and fresh air, expect the outside decks and the lookout at the bow, as well as the promenade deck on Deck 8, which is long enough for long walks. You can train your fitness in the fitness room with equipment at the window, so that you can always follow the places we are driving past while you are training. There is also a hot tub on deck 8, where you can take a dip in the open air and see the northern lights or bathe in the midnight sun. Deck 7 is the center of the ship. The shop, conference hall and several restaurants are located here, serving traditional Norwegian dishes and modern creations made from Norwegian raw materials. In the conference hall you can get information about the trip and the places the ship passes, as well as the culture and history of Norway. The shop sells clothes, books and local specialties. And when special sights and highlights along the coast are announced over the public address system, you can head to the bow for the best view. In between there are also certain activities that are connected to the places you pass - for example when you cross the Arctic Circle and drive into the realm of the Arctic, the land of bright summer nights and dark winter days. At the top of Deck 9 you will find the Observation Lounge. Under the glass roof you will find armchairs with a direct view of the northern lights, the starry night or a summer night colored by the midnight sun.
