7 Nächte By bike and boat from Mainz to Cologne

- Mainz: your bike tour will take you past Eltville, with its Electoral Castle, and Oestrich-Winkel, whose landmark is a historic wine-loading crane, to Rüdesheim. A visit to the famous Drosselgasse is recommended here.
- Rüdesheim: today, you ride along the Rhine through the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, past romantic castles and castle ruins. These buildings include Reichenstein and Rheinstein Castles. The famous Loreley Rock is also on your way to St. Goar, today's destination. From the rock, you will enjoy a magnificent view of St. Goar and St. Goarshausen.
- St. Goar: Boppard and the Marksburg Castle are possible stops today on your way to Koblenz, with the famous Deutsches Eck (German Corner), where the Moselle flows into the Rhine. A fantastic view of the magnificent Rhineland landscape can be enjoyed from Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, which is easily reached by cable car.
- Koblenz: the route takes you past Neuwied with its Engers Castle to Andernach, your destination today. Like Koblenz, the city is considered one of the oldest in Germany. Its famous cold water geyser, with its 50 to 60-meter-high water fountain, is considered the tallest in the world. Experience historic Andernach with sights like the Round Tower or visit the wine-growing town of Leutesdorf, which can be reached by ferry from Andernach.
- Andernach: on the way to Bonn, it's worth visiting Drachenburg Castle on Drachenfels (steep climb) or Sea Life Aquarium with its many marine creatures in Königswinter. Finally, you reach Bonn. The former German capital presents a cozy Rhineland yet cosmopolitan atmosphere. Numerous global organizations are still headquartered here, ensuring the international flair of Beethoven's city to this day.
- Bonn: before you reach Cologne by bike, if the weather is good, you can take a nice break on the "leisure island" Groov, located in the expansive Rhine meadow landscape of the Cologne district of Porz-Zündorf. Once you arrive in Cologne, you should take the time for a walking tour of the old town. Perhaps you can also visit one of the numerous museums and modern Cologne, which can be seen at the Rheinauhafen Harbor with its crane houses. The city presents itself in a cozy way, for example, in the Cologne breweries with their famous beer, Kölsch.
