The following bike tours are already included:
- Cologne: before your bike tour, take some time for a short stroll through the old town. Afterwards, ride to Bonn, which, as the German federal city and former capital, still retains its international flair. If the weather is nice, a visit to the "leisure island" of Groov, located in the expansive Rhine meadow landscape of the Cologne district of Porz-Zündorf, is worthwhile. In Bonn, museums such as the House of History and the Federal Art and Exhibition Hall (Bundeskunsthalle) vie for your attention, but the Beethoven House, the Rheinaue leisure park, and the Federal Quarter with the Path of Democracy are also worth a visit.
- Bonn: ride towards Andernach. Königswinter, with Drachenburg Castle on the Drachenfels (steep climb) and Sea Life Königswinter, with aquariums for 6,000 sea creatures, is worth a stop. Your destination today, Andernach, is known for the world's largest cold-water geyser, whose water spurts up to 60 meters high in an impressive spectacle.
- Andernach: Neuwied, with the picturesque Engers Castle, is on your way to Koblenz. At the famous Deutsches Eck (German Corner), with the equestrian statue of Kaiser Wilhelm I, the Moselle flows into the Rhine. Another attraction is the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, which you can also reach by train. You can ride the Koblenz Rhine Cable Car
- Koblenz: the ride continues down the Rhine through the UNESCO world heritage of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. You pass the romantic Marksburg Castle, the only hilltop castle on the Middle Rhine that was never destroyed, as well as the town of Boppard with its Electoral Castle, before reaching St. Goar. Here, the ruins of Rheinfels Castle, the largest of the castle ruins on the Rhine, await you. Also worth seeing are the Katz and Maus castles on the other side of the Rhine in St. Goarshausen.
- St. Goar: you will again pass beautiful Rhine castles such as Reichenstein Castle and Rheinstein Castle. You ride past the famous Loreley Rock and finally reach Rüdesheim. Explore Rüdesheim's historically significant sights. Or treat yourself to a ride on the cable car to the Niederwald Memorial. From there, you have a magnificent view of Rüdesheim's old town and the river.
-Rüdesheim: on the final bike stage, the Rhine once again reveals its most beautiful side. Eltville am Rhein is on your route. The Electoral Castle, the city's landmark, is worth a visit. Mainz, today's destination, boasts numerous impressive buildings. Perhaps you visit Mainz Cathedral, one of Germany's proudest imperial cathedrals, or the Electoral Palace. Charming old town streets and squares await you in the old town, such as Augustinerstraße and the Kirschgarten, with beautiful half-timbered houses and wine restaurants.
