Before the cruise

Arrival
Whether by train or car, your arrival is always planned individually by you. If you arrive by car, the cruise line will be glad to provide you with information about parking options.
Excursions and visits
The excursions mentioned on the offer pages are not included in the travel price. Excursions can be booked in advance; Additional bookings are possible on board subject to availability. The execution of the excursions always depends on reaching the minimum number of participants. For short-term bookings, excursions can be paid for on board in cash or by credit or debit card.
Embarkation and disembarkation
In your travel documents you will find detailed embarkation instructions for the exact berth at the embarkation point. Despite officially confirmed berths, ships may have to change these at short notice. Please also note the information on site and the exact embarkation times.
Schedule and program changes
Changes and deviations of individual travel services from the agreed content of the travel contract, which become necessary after the conclusion of the contract, e.g. due to the special circumstances of cruising, are permitted as long as they are not significant, do not lead to a significant change in the travel service and do not affect the overall layout of the cruise. The same applies for changes to travel times and/or routes (e.g. for safety and weather reasons), which are the sole responsibility of the captain responsible for the ship.
Noises
Your ship is on the one hand your "holiday hotel", but on the other hand it is also a "work tool" that moves with engine power. As a result, typical ship noises may occur at any time (partly when passing through locks and bridges and the resulting entry and exit of the structure). We recommend guests who are sensitive to noise to take with them hearing protection/ear plugs.
Port berths
In many cities it is common for the port authorities to allocate a common berth to several ships if necessary. In these cases, the vessels are side by side and the clear view from your cabin may be affected.
Travel insurance
It is advisable to take out travel insurance.
Cancellation of the cruise
You can cancel the cruise at any time by paying cancellation fees.

The following bike tours are already included:
- Saarburg: your first bike tour begins after breakfast and takes you to an old branch of the Saar River and then via Wasserbillig in Luxembourg to the Igel Column. In the afternoon, you will reach Trier, where your ship awaits you. Trier was made the seat of government by the Romans and is best known for the Porta Nigra, a city gate of gigantic proportions. A walking tour here is highly recommended.
- Trier: after breakfast, you will head to Mehring. The community is surrounded by vineyards, forests, and meadows and is considered the largest wine-growing town in the Moselle-Saar-Ruwer region. Even the Romans appreciated the magnificent landscape over 2,000 years ago.
- Mehring: today is all about wine. Neumagen Dhron, with its replica of a Roman wine ship, is the first stop of the day. The tour continues to Piesport, the largest wine-growing community on the Moselle. This is also where the largest Roman wine press ever discovered north of the Alps is located.
- Bernkastel-Kues: from Bernkastel-Kues to Traben-Trarbach, the route continues along the right bank of the Moselle. You follow the winding Moselle and reach Zell an der Mosel – famous for the "Zeller Schwarze Katz" vineyard. In Zell, you should take the opportunity to discover the excellent wines of the Moselle.
- Zell: from Zell, you head to Beilstein. This charming little town even made film history as "Rothenburg an der Mosel." Your destination for the day is Cochem, with its famous Imperial Castle and charming half-timbered houses.
- Cochem: today, a relaxing day awaits you on board. Enjoy the passing Moselle landscape from the sun deck and stroll in the afternoon in Koblenz along the "Deutsches Eck," where the Moselle and Rhine rivers converge. Experienced bike riders can alternatively ride from Cochem to Koblenz and visit Eltz Castle.

Please note:
It is possible to bring your own bicycles (€ 39,- only upon request, limited)

More information is available upon request.

Please note
Schedules and programs are generally subject to change. If, for example, a route cannot be sailed on due to low water, high water or bad weather, the captain reserves the right to change the route for your safety (this is not a free reason for cancellation). The same applies to lock and/or bridge repairs ordered by the authorities that were not announced in advance.
