Documents and papers

Pass
All guests must be able to identify themselves. The passport must be valid for six months more after the end of the cruise and should have at least four blank sides for an international cruise. The guests themselves are responsible for having all necessary documents available in time before the cruise. If that is not the case, they can be prevented by the border authorities or customs authorities from entering a country. On most cruises, the passports must be collected for the length of the journey, so that appropriate checks can be carried out in each port -of-call.
Visa regulations
The visa regulations vary from country to country. You can get up-to-date information about the embassies and consulates of your country in the countries where you travel to. Upon request, we will provide you with information on all countries in which the ship docks, because no matter whether you go ashore or not, appropriate visas must be obtained. Regardless of how long the ship stays in a port, the immigration authorities in each port check all passengers. It is your responsibility to obtain the necessary visas. If they are not available, entry or onward travel can be prohibited.
